Official: US Special Forces team wasn't allowed to fly to Benghazi during attack
Mon May 6, 2013
America would expect the same courtesy, or we would shoot them down, no? That being said, should have been damn easy to get.
Payday loans hurt at-risk customers, study finds
Wed Feb 20, 2013
Payday loans snowball - you take out one, and then another to repay the first, then another and antoher - and all of those places have tentacles into your bank account. The interest rates are like 600% or more. It's quick and you click right through it and then you have cash the next day.
3 percent pay raise the 'new normal' for 2013
Fri Nov 16, 2012
me too...guess what? Health insurance went up - as it does every year...gas prices...up. grocery prices...up. homeowners insurance...up. every damn thing I can think of .... up. No increase in government pay - the government does have peons - we are not all overfed bureaucrtic losers, just people tr …
Make mouthwatering vegetarian Thanksgiving dishes
Wed Nov 14, 2012
haha, came here to comment the same thing. Of course you can use vegetable broth, but advertising a vegetarian recipe that uses chicken broth is poor editing.
Time, gentlemen, please! Obama, Romney bicker over the debate clock
Tue Oct 16, 2012
OK - that wasn't "Candy Crowley" it was Chris Christie in a wig and a dress. If Obama won anything, it was for his ability to spin the truth.
Michelle Obama and Ann Romney's chic debate looks
Thu Oct 4, 2012
Ann's suit is way more flattering. And the color isn't stark white - more of a warm white. As long as she wasn't wearing white shoes - she is following fashion rules, but no one goes by that crap anymore anyway. As for Michelle's suit - for myself, I have never been a fan of 3/4 length sleeves.
Survey: 30% of meat eaters won't date a vegetarian
Fri Jul 6, 2012
I am a vegetarian, my husband is not. I can assure you that I am way healthier than he is, with his high cholesterol, high blood pressure, pre-diabetes, and gout. I don't need to preach - the result of clean eating is obvious in our house.
Woman challenges bone marrow donation law in effort to save daughters' lives
Wed Jun 13, 2012
Blood cells are the same within it's type. For example a Type A would be identical regardless of the color of the donor. Bone marrow is based on ethnicity - there are markers that have to match or the marrow won't engraft in the transplantee, and can cause other issues.
First lady wants you: to help military families
Tue Apr 12, 2011
It's a good thing, but really, all she is doing is asking...not actually "doing." That's all she ever does is tell everyone else to step up and do, but i don't ever see her actually doing anything.
Is anti-obesity campaign working?
Mon Feb 7, 2011
Over the past few years I have lost over 100 pounds. So, I've been there. In my opinion, Government control will never work. The person themself has to make a decision to take control of their own bad habits. You cannot force anyone to do anything unless you lock them down. For me, it h …
